Frequently Asked Questions
Ploče and Pile are the natural choice if you want to be within walking distance of the Old Town; Lapad and Babin Kuk suit those after a more resort-like atmosphere, with larger pool areas and sunsets over the Elaphiti Islands.
Sea views come as standard across many room categories, alongside high-quality finishes, a rain shower or bath, an espresso machine and well-considered in-room technology.
Several of the luxury hotels have comprehensive spa facilities, including heated pools, saunas, steam rooms and a wide range of treatments.
Six to nine months ahead for July and August or for suites; three to six months is generally sufficient for May to June and September to October.
A number offer family rooms, children's clubs and a children's pool. Many welcome families whilst also maintaining adults-only zones for guests who prefer a quieter environment.
Smart casual in the evenings is the general standard — shorts and swimwear are best kept to the pool and beach.
