Oia brings the sunset and the crowds, Imerovigli the same view with more calm, Fira the nightlife — and Kamari on the east coast is the island's beach-and-family side without caldera prices. May–June and September–October bring the warmth without high season's crowds. The airport transfer is short: 15–30 minutes to the caldera villages.
