What Guests Loved
- Every suite features a private balcony facing west, offering unobstructed sunset views over the Aegean Sea and the caldera without the crowds of Oia.
- The subterranean spa offers a cave-like thermal bath, a sauna, and customized therapies, a rare feature for cliffside boutique properties in this region.
Things to Consider
- Due to its dramatic cliffside position, the layout features numerous steep steps, which may pose accessibility challenges for guests with limited mobility.
- While the hotel has its own restaurant, the immediate neighborhood has fewer dining options than Fira, requiring a short taxi ride or a walk for variety.

“We stayed at Santorini Princess Spa Hotel for three nights, and it was truly an exceptional experience. Our room with Caldera view, was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was equipped with everything we needed. Daily housekeeping kept it spotless throughout our stay. The location is ideal, just a 15’ walk from Imerovigli, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and mini markets, as well as some of the island’s most breathtaking sunset views, especially from Skaros Rock. The breakfast buffet was simply outstanding, with huge variety to enjoy something different each morning, and everything was delicious. Proper coffee machine for great espressos and cappuccinos. The pool area is cozy and inviting, with a lovely pool bar serving excellent cocktails and tasty snacks. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff: kind, attentive, and always ready to help with any request or offer excellent recommendations for exploring the island, always with a genuine smile. They kindly offered us an upgrade for the last night to one of their exclusive villas in Akrotiri area (southern tip of the island), which I’ll review separately. In summary, Santorini Princess Spa Hotel is a true little gem. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. 💯”
“It was truly a wonderful hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring, and I would especially like to thank Despina and Roza at the reception. They genuinely go above and beyond for their guests. Since it was my birthday, they even surprised me with a thoughtful celebration. Experiencing such kindness made my stay incredibly special. I’m so grateful to them, and I highly recommend staying here. The restaurant was also excellent. Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.”
“There are very few places that are so special that made us have to return… and Santorini Princess Spa Hotel is one of them. This is our second stay, because our first experience was genuinely perfect and we got engaged here last year. We hoped it could live up to the memories we had made the first time, but somehow it manages to exceed them. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed back by the same incredible team, who remembered us and made us feel like family. Every single member of staff goes above and beyond, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care are what truly sets this hotel apart. The setting is simply breathtaking, with uninterrupted views across the caldera that never get old, especially at sunset. The rooms are immaculate, the food is outstanding, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. Whether it’s breakfast overlooking the sea, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying dinner with one of the best views in Santorini, every moment feels special. It’s incredibly rare to find a hotel where absolutely everything is faultless, but Santorini Princess Spa Hotel comes as close as we’ve ever experienced. The combination of the spectacular location, exceptional food, luxurious facilities and, above all, the phenomenal team creates an experience that is truly unforgettable. Thank you to everyone for making our second visit every bit as magical as our first. We will undoubtedly be back again, and we couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly to anyone visiting Santorini. It is, without question, one of the finest hotels we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in and will forever be our special place.”
“Our stay at Princess Hotel Santorini exceeded all of our expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. From the moment we arrived at 9:00 AM on Saturday, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Although check in wasn’t until later, our beautiful ocean view room was ready by noon, which was greatly appreciated after traveling. A special thank you to Romina at the front desk, who was absolutely phenomenal throughout our stay. She was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful with every request. She made arranging all of our transportation effortless, and the hotel’s WhatsApp communication made it so easy to ask questions or request anything we needed. Another outstanding team member was Michaela at the breakfast restaurant. She was super accommodating and truly went out of her way to take care of us. Since breakfast had ended before our room was ready, she made sure we were served by the pool between 11:00 AM and noon, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and offered stunning ocean views. One of the things we loved most about the hotel was its location. It’s perfectly situated between the busy towns of Oia and Fira, making it easy to visit both while returning to a peaceful, quiet setting away from the crowds. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay without all the noise and congestion, this is the perfect location. The only small disappointment during our stay was the pool area. It was much smaller than we expected based on the photos. However, this was a very minor issue and certainly didn’t take away from our overall experience. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and the level of hospitality from every staff member made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. If you’re visiting Santorini, I highly recommend Princess Hotel. The exceptional service from Romina, Michaela, and the entire team made our vacation even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again.”
