Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels
This resort is best suited to adults seeking a peaceful, low-key retreat near the coast. A potential disadvantage is the limited nightlife in the immediate vicinity, while the minimalist landscaping reflects the volcanic climate.
Guests score it 9.1 out of 10 — the average across the 13 hotels we list on Lanzarote is 8.8.
What Guests Loved
- The resort sits on the edge of the coastline, providing immediate access to the sand and promenades of Costa Teguise. This proximity allows for effortless movement between the hotel’s amenities and the Mediterranean shore.
- By excluding younger guests, the property maintains a consistent level of tranquility throughout the shared spaces. It caters specifically to travelers seeking a calm environment suited for reading, lounging, and quiet conversation.
Things to Consider
- While the location is serene, those looking for energetic nightlife may find the immediate neighborhood somewhat quiet. A short walk or taxi ride is necessary to reach the busier commercial hubs of Costa Teguise.
- Reflecting the island's volcanic nature, the outdoor landscape is more minimalist than lush. While the gardens are well-kept, travelers expecting dense tropical foliage might find the aesthetic lean and highly structured.

Reviews from Google“Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff and a fabulous swim up room. We did bed and breakfast and wow the choice all fresh and some bits cooked to order. The only breakfast we've had in any hotel that was as good as sandals in St Lucia. We had an issue with our door lock but easily and quickly resolved by staff. Absolutely wonderful hotel which we would come back to. Great coastline footpath at the bottom that leads to the square and lots of restaurants to choose from. 10/10 great adults only resort quiet charming and peaceful. A must place to stay. Thanks so much to the team for the lounge passes at the airport our plane was delayed so this was absolutely brilliant for us.”
“Stunning hotel from the moment you enter the reception area. It smells amazing...sounds daft but it really makes the hotel feel special and luxurious. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful in all areas, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Irene (reception), Alex (breakfast waiter) and Maxwell & Francesca (bar staff) in particular need a big shout out. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean and the vibe is chilled and relaxed. We only stopped B&B. However breakfast is superb, a massive choice with both hot and cold buffet and its constantly being replenished with fresh food. You can order fresh omelette. Huge urns of creamy hot porridge. Full English (if this is your thing). Fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats, fresh smoothies, I could go on and on. The junior suite rooms are large, the beds are comfy. There are 4 pools, although not really that warm, they are nice to cool off in, plenty of sunbeds. Fantastic holiday from start to finish.”
“What a fantastic hotel. On arrival at the hotel we were met by the friendliest reception staff. We were offered rooms that suited us best. The food was the best for selection and quality. Not the normal repeat dishes you get in other big brand hotel groups. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Will use raddison now for all our holidays. All staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Thank you for an amazing stay and will definitely be returning.”
“I really enjoyed our stay at Raddisson Blu Resort Lanzarote. It is a five star resort with two heated pool and two regular pool. We booked suites and been upgraded to villa! We are welcomed by 🍾. During our stay, the room was spotlessly cleaned by housekeeping staff and every staff here is v.friendly (they great you even you walk by far away!) There is lifeguard on duty and finding a beach chair is never really a problem. We stayed in June, the water temperature is ok to swim even in the non-heated pool. There is parking for guests and you can rent car directly through Avis terminal in the lobby. Bus to town run almost 24 hours. We didn't go half board so only breakfast. It was good, full on five star quality, menu changes every day and full English breakfast available. I will definitely recommend to stay here for a long weekend or longer family holiday.”
“My husband and I visited this hotel last week to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary and it was amazing. Spacious and clean rooms, friendly professional staff and excellent food. I've never seen such a varied choice for breakfast. We upgraded to the Crown Service which really made the stay special. This includes spirits, beers and mixers in the minibar, reserved padded sun loungers and access to Maar Bar where food and cocktails are made to order and a huge selection of spirits are available for you to pour your own drinks. Miguel and the male chef (sorry I don't know his name) were brilliant. If booked for 6 days+ a return airport transfer is included, along with airport lounge access at Arrecife. Although a large hotel it never felt crowded or too busy. The hotel is next to the beach and restaurants and shops are a 15 minute walk away. We like to visit different countries when travelling and never return to the same hotel but we both agreed it would be difficult to find anything better to suit our needs, so upon our return home we decided to amend our next holiday which was already booked, in order to return in September.”
