In short: "Seven verified all-inclusive hotels on Lanzarote, ranked against the terms the hotels publish themselves. Iberostar Lanzarote Park for the strongest combined guest score, Seaside Los Jameos for the clearest terms, H10 Rubicón for the most generous à la carte allowance on the island. Seven hotels were reviewed and left out."
Lanzarote sells all-inclusive on terms that differ far more than the price lets on.
At one hotel a buffet dinner can be swapped for an à la carte dinner every third night; at its sister hotel every seventh; at a third there is no à la carte restaurant at all. One of the island's most highly regarded hotels does not sell all-inclusive but discount vouchers.
The review analysis covers a sample of 430 reviews from 4 of the 7 hotels listed. Mentions are counted after automated classification of texts that may be shortened. Latest analysis in this selection: August 2026. How we count mentions.

1Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park
Lanzarote, Spain
Food & restaurants: 50 of 55 mentions positive · Service & staff: 43 of 44 mentions positive
Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park sits in Playa Blanca at the southern end of the island, with Star Prestige as its named premium tier, covering both rooms and a zone of its own.
One thing to know in advance: both of the hotel's restaurants are buffets, and the chain says outright that no table booking is needed. There is therefore no à la carte dinner to include, only an à la carte lunch menu at the El Mirador snack bar.
Why this rank: The strongest combined guest score in the selection, Booking 8.7 and Google 4.8, plus a named premium tier for rooms and zone.
2Seaside Los Jameos
Lanzarote, Spain
Service & staff: 52 of 52 mentions positive · Food & restaurants: 45 of 58 mentions positive
Seaside Los Jameos stands on Playa de los Pocillos in Puerto del Carmen and holds the highest Booking score in the selection, 9.1 from 556 reviews.
Its terms are the clearest on the island too, and the gap between the tiers is wide. All Inclusive Premium gives one dinner per person per seven-night stay at Arroz y Fuego plus à la carte lunch on a terrace of its own. On the standard tier no dinner there is included at all, only thirty per cent off the food. Check which tier you are booking.
Why this rank: The highest Booking score in the selection and the most clearly published terms, though four stars pull the total down.
3H10 Rubicón Horizons Collection
Lanzarote, Spain
H10 Rubicón in Playa Blanca has the most generous à la carte allowance on Lanzarote. A buffet dinner can be swapped for an à la carte dinner at Dolce Vita, Sakura or Steak House every third night of your stay, and tables have to be booked.
It is worth comparing with its sister hotel H10 Timanfaya Palace, which offers the same thing but only every seventh night. The restaurant El Volcán costs extra unless you are on the Privilege tier.
Why this rank: The most generous à la carte allowance on the island, one dinner per three nights, with 1,317 reviews behind the score.
4Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote
Lanzarote, Spain
Paradisus Salinas in Costa Teguise is architecturally the most distinctive hotel on the island, built around an indoor jungle by Fernando Higueras and recently refurbished. The concept is called Destination Inclusive and The Reserve is the named upgrade tier.
The hotel used to be our headline recommendation here. It is not any longer, and the reason is that we now weigh what the terms actually say: a table booking is required at La Graciosa, Samira and Cappella, but Meliá does not publish how many dinners are included, and the Beach Bar is explicitly excluded.
Why this rank: Five-star with a named upgrade tier and Booking 8.9, but the hotel publishes no number of included à la carte dinners.
5Barceló Teguise Beach - Adults Only
Lanzarote, Spain
Food & restaurants: 11 of 11 mentions positive · Pools, beach & aquapark: 10 of 12 mentions positive
Barceló Teguise Beach is the adults-only hotel in Costa Teguise, and the one hotel here where we were able to confirm the most terms. Barceló's own all-inclusive brochure is the most precise source in the whole review.
À la carte is served at Champs Sports Bar and Breeze Pool Bar with no quota, but the hotel has no à la carte dinner restaurant of its own. Standard spirits such as Beefeater, Bacardi, Absolut and Ballantines are included, while premium spirits come only at a discount. The minibar and room service sit outside the package.
Why this rank: The best coverage in the selection, nine of ten criteria confirmed, and 1,613 reviews, but four stars and no premium tier.
6Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada Resort
Lanzarote, Spain
Service & staff: 89 of 116 mentions positive · Condition & cleanliness: 57 of 83 mentions positive
Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada is in Playa Blanca and took over the property from Dreams Lanzarote. Premium drinks are part of the package.
Hyatt publishes nothing, however, about whether or how often the à la carte restaurants are included. That is what keeps the hotel's score down despite five-star status and a large body of reviews.
Why this rank: Five-star with premium drinks and 2,016 reviews, but the hotel publishes no terms for à la carte.
7Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa
Lanzarote, Spain
Secrets Lanzarote is in Puerto Calero and is sold with all-inclusive under Hyatt's Unlimited-Luxury brand.
We could not read the terms. Hyatt's own pages returned a 403 on every attempt during the review, and we do not rank on information we have not been able to verify with the operator. The hotel is held back as a result, despite a large body of reviews. We will revisit it when the pages can be read.
Why this rank: Sold with all-inclusive and backed by 2,063 reviews, but Hyatt's own pages returned a 403 when we checked, so the concept could not be verified.
How we ranked the hotels
This ranking belongs to the theme alone and is separate from the general luxury order on the destination page. The guest score on Booking and Google counts for 55 per cent, weighted by how many reviews sit behind it, so that a score built on a handful of guests is pulled towards the island average. Verified concept facts count for 30 per cent: whether all-inclusive is sold at all, whether à la carte is included, whether premium drinks are included, whether there is a stated premium tier, and whether food and drink are served around the clock. Star rating counts for 15 per cent.
The two guest scores are combined into a single weighted figure that we never print on the page as a grade, because it is not comparable with Booking's or Google's own scales. Where we quote a score in the text we always name the source, for example Booking 9.1 or Google 4.8.
We require Booking 8.5 or better before we will rank a hotel here, and the threshold applies as of the day we check.
Anything we could not confirm counts as neither a yes nor a no. It is left out of the calculation and lowers the hotel's coverage at the same time, so a hotel with few confirmed criteria cannot climb on its guest score alone. That is what has pulled Paradisus Salinas down from where it stood in our previous version, and what holds Secrets Lanzarote back here.
This time we are publishing no counted review mentions for Lanzarote. On 9 September 2026 we found that our review harvest had been storing rewritten versions of the same review instead of the guests' own words, and until that material has been gathered again we would rather not publish figures built on it.
We have read the hotels' own pages, noted the exact wording and the date we checked it, and ranked on that basis.
Fourteen hotels on Lanzarote went through the review. Seven sell an all-inclusive concept we were able to verify and clear our score threshold. Those are ranked below. The rest appear at the foot of the page with the reason. Terms we could not confirm are left blank rather than guessed.
Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca or Puerto Calero — where should you stay?
Puerto del Carmen (Seaside Los Jameos) is the island's oldest and liveliest resort town, the closest to the airport at about a quarter of an hour, with a long seafront promenade and the widest choice of restaurants outside the hotels.
Costa Teguise (Paradisus Salinas, Barceló Teguise Beach) sits on the east coast a little over twenty minutes from the airport. Windier than the south, which makes it popular with windsurfers, and quieter than Puerto del Carmen.
Playa Blanca and Yaiza (Iberostar Lanzarote Park, H10 Rubicón, Grand Hyatt) in the south have the biggest choice of newer resorts, the calmest water on the island and the ferry to Fuerteventura. Reckon on a little over half an hour from the airport.
Puerto Calero (Secrets Lanzarote) is a purpose-built marina between Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca, quieter than either and with no town of its own to walk into.
Hotels we reviewed but left out
Seven hotels went through the same review without making the list. The first four all have guest scores that would have been good enough, but they do not sell all-inclusive. The two after them do sell all-inclusive and went through the ranking, but their à la carte sits outside the package, which kept them off the list.
Hotel Fariones — Booking 9.5 from 536 reviews, the highest guest score on the island in our collection. The hotel's own site states no board basis whatsoever, and we found no all-inclusive concept to compare.
Radisson Blu Resort, Lanzarote — Booking 9.1 from 2,193 reviews. The hotel does not sell all-inclusive but ten discount vouchers. Dinner is the Tremor buffet, and drinks are not included.
La Isla y el Mar — Booking 9.1 from 620 reviews. The hotel is sold on half board: breakfast and dinner.
Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort — Booking 8.7. The hotel's own site publishes no board information at all, neither all-inclusive nor half board.
Barceló Playa Blanca and its Royal Level adults-only zone — Booking 8.8 from 1,511 reviews, the second-highest guest score on the island among hotels that actually sell all-inclusive. It went through the ranking but fell on the concept: the à la carte restaurants are not part of the package. Barceló gives twenty per cent off them instead, which is not the same thing.
Hotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote in Puerto del Carmen — Booking 8.6 from 408 reviews. It sells all-inclusive around the clock, which is unusual on the island, but the Yashima and Yaiza restaurants are buffets and the hotel has no à la carte to include. It went through the ranking without earning a place on the list.
H10 Timanfaya Palace in Playa Blanca — the same chain as H10 Rubicón and the same arrangement, but one à la carte dinner at Kasbah every seventh night rather than every third. We have not been able to verify the hotel's guest score against its own Booking page and have thus left it out of the ranking.
A hotel missing from the list is not one we think poorly of. It means either that it does not sell all-inclusive, that we found no published terms to compare, or that the guest score sits below our threshold.
