Areas drawn from our hotels' addresses — updated as the selection changes.
Nabq Bay
Best for Resort-based relaxationLocated in the northern part of Sharm El Sheikh, Nabq Bay features modern, expansive resorts and views across the Straits of Tiran. The area is known for its protected marine park and flatter coastal landscape.
Sharks Bay and Ras Nosrani
Best for Snorkelling and familiesThis coastal stretch is home to house reefs that drop directly into the deep sea, making it highly regarded for diving. It also features Soho Square, an upscale hub for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Naama Bay and Pasha Bay
Best for Nightlife and sandy beachesAs the original tourism hub of Sharm El Sheikh, Naama Bay features a pedestrian promenade lined with cafes, shops, and restaurants. The bay is one of the few areas with gently shelving sandy beaches suitable for wading.
Hadaba
Best for Dramatic coastal viewsPositioned on a steep cliffside in the southern peninsula, Hadaba offers panoramic vistas across the Red Sea. It is a quieter residential and resort district popular for its deep reef walls and the historic Old Market nearby.
Areas to consider
Visitors seeking calm waters for casual swimming should note that Nabq Bay is prone to strong winds and currents, often making its long jetties unsuitable for less experienced swimmers.

Each bar shows how a hotel's nightly price moved over the period, leaving out the most unusual days. The marker is its typical price.
Every hotel counts once, at its own typical price, so hotels we happened to check more often don't carry more weight. Prices are the lowest rate available for the whole stay, worked out per night in euros.

How we chose these hotels
At our latest review (August 2026) the properties listed above were measured against the same standard: sustained guest scores on both Booking.com and Google — weighted by how many reviews sit behind them — five-star class or an equivalent premium level, a genuinely first-rate location, and facilities that set the hotel apart.
As a guideline we look for around 8.5 or higher on Booking.com, but no single number decides on its own — when the sources disagree, the broader evidence wins. Guest scores on this page update continuously, and the selection is re-reviewed at regular intervals. The full standard is described in how we choose hotels.
