Xperience Sea Breeze Resort is made for guests who want their days to happen on site. It climbs a slope in Sharks Bay down to a private beach on the Red Sea, where a pier leads out to a coral reef that snorkellers describe as colourful and full of fish. Several pools, pool bars, an entertainment team and a buffet with a different theme each night keep families busy, and guests talk most warmly about the staff, who are praised from reception to the restaurant and housekeeping. The setting has its trade-offs. The grounds are hilly, so the walk between the room blocks and the main building can be tiring, and the slopes and ramps are difficult for wheelchair users. WiFi is patchy, and the main restaurant gets busy. Sharks Bay itself is quiet, so Naama Bay, about 10 km away, is a taxi ride. Families and snorkellers planning to stay put will find a well-run base; anyone after nightlife on the doorstep should look closer to Naama Bay.
