Worth knowing about Agadir and Taghazout
Agadir is Morocco's beach city with a broad sandy bay and promenade — Founty Beach and the Riu Palace sit right on it, 25–30 minutes from the airport. Taghazout Bay north of the city (White Beach, 45–50 minutes) is the new luxury-and-surf enclave. Palais des Roses sits by the city promenade. The season is long. The Atlantic, however, runs cooler than the Med — pools do the work in winter, and the waves make Taghazout Morocco's surf capital.
