“We recently stayed at Riu Palace Tikida Agadir. The hotel itself was nice, clean, rooms were spacious. As vegetarians, we found the food very meat-focused with limited vegetarian options, and despite some dishes being labelled vegan, there were concerns with cross-contamination. Thankfully, Chef Mohamed came to our rescue and completely changed our experience. He understood our dietary requirements, prepared special dishes for us every evening, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He was incredibly kind, polite and accommodating. A big thank you to Chef Mohamed. He saved our holiday and deserves a lot of recognition!”

“Very nice hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The waiters were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional, always making sure we had everything we needed and making every meal feel special. A special mention also goes to the cooks, who were friendly, hardworking, and clearly put a lot of care into the food. The buffet was excellent, with a great variety of dishes to suit all tastes. There was always plenty of choice, with different options available at every meal, so we never felt like we were eating the same thing. Overall, the staff were one of the highlights of our stay. One thing that unfortunately disappointed me was the cleanliness of the velour sofas in the lounge area near reception. There was noticeable dust and dirt on them, which was quite unpleasant... Each time I returned to sit there, I found myself having to personally clean the sofa with a handkerchief before sitting down.”

“This was my 2nd trip to this hotel and was very surprised and impressed with the improvements made in the 2 years since our 1st trip. From the reception area and seating areas to the addition to a cappuccino bar, sports bar and Pepe's snack bar near the pool area. The staff feel genuinely happy to see and assist you. Rooms were very clean and tidy no issues with air-conditioning unlike some hotels. The usual day entertainment provided with the team also providing evening entertainment. The Circus night was undoubtedly the best night of all. Now looking forward to when I can return.”

“I want to give an unbiased, honest review of my 2 weeks so others can make an informed decision. I am 38F, British of German heritage with family and friends all over the world. This hotel popped up on my Instagram feed so I booked it! The pictures don't do it justice. I arrived with my husband at around 1am and the hotel was quiet and peaceful but absolutely stunning. The lighting and decor was visually striking. The sports bar serves food through the early hours of the morning so we had a chance to eat after all the traveling. The food was ok for what it was at that time of night:- meat patties, continental meats and sausage, breads as well as fruit. We went up to our room and it was beautiful and clen and the view of the sea was lovely. The only issue we had was our beds were two large single beds pushed together which meant we spent our holiday nights sleeping separately so it wasn't very romantic! There was a mini bar of soft drinks, an iron and board, kettle, teabags etc and bottles of water that gets replenished every two days but we requested water daily and it always arrived to our room. Our room was cleaned daily even if we put the do not disturb sign on. One time however we did have to put the DND sign and it was respected but that was probably because of the noises we made :/ ? The food was amazing... I've seen reviews moaning about it. It was tasty and there was many types of dishes available that for two weeks I couldn't have tried everything there! As someone who takes good care of the food I eat because I train and excersize, there were lots of wholefood choices available and I couldn't have been happier. Salads, meats, fruits, roasts, pizzas, pasta, fishes, tagine, cheeses, so much!! The desserts were divine. I saw some reviews complaining that there was barely any food left or it was limited however, if you arrive 30 mins before the restaurant closes as I had a couple of times on excursions, don't expect it to be fresh and full! Just take what there is and go earlier the next time! I personally thought it was great food and it was replenished throughout service once so there was plenty of food to eat, even towards end of service so I can't understand the complaints. The drinks were nice and lots of choices too, cocktails available were the usual suspects and whatever liquor was available you can request other drinks not on the menu. The only down side is, there was no measuring of spirits! This is something I really didn't like because in the UK measuring standards are there for a reason but imagine how much money the hotel could save if spirits were measured per shot rather than haphazardly guessing and pouring. Some cocktails I had were undrinkable because of how strong they were and or too sickly sweet. I think standard bar training would be advantageous however the staff were all amazing and helpful! The entertainment was interesting and the staff who did it were wonderful people! So helpful. I had an absolute laugh with them especially Ismail who was informative, fun and very professional. They made the days in the hotel fun! The gym was good for a hotel gym, I was able to train well with the equipment. The pool area was nice. Bear in mind it is a busy hotel, there are a lot of people. Those complaining about the mess or cleaning, it got done every evening and morning and as much as possible during the day. The issue I saw was that some families allowed their children to climb on the on the wood sun loungers who snapped off parts, left food around and people spilling drinks then leaving them. Also, a lot of the German and Russian guests would wake up at 6am and take the sun loungers then leave them unattended all day. I think the staff could be more strict with them on this. One last suggestion, check in and check out times could be placed in bedrooms on clear visible signs to remind guests because I got stung with a nasty extra charge for late checkout. There is literally one sign to remind guests at the reception which I think is too subtle especially if your focus is on having a good time.”

“One of the best hotels I ever stayed. Spacious rooms, we had on the 4th floor. Big green territory. Very tasty food. And the most important- staff. I am grateful to reception managers Miss Malak and Miss Yasmine - they made all the best to satisfy our needs, for instance, my mother had a birthday, so they did their best to organise the holiday, solved our questions to change the room. Amazing housekeeping, all in all people in Morocco are kind and friendly. Thank you so much!”
