In short: We checked the adults policy at twenty-four hotels on Gran Canaria. Here are the nine that are adults-only under their own terms, plus the ones we left out.
Gran Canaria's adults-only hotels sit close together on the island's south coast, around Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and San Agustín.
Of the twenty-four hotels we reviewed, nine are adults-only under their own published terms — and what separates them is rarely whether they are child-free, but where the age limit falls and how calm the place actually is.

Gran Canaria, Spain
Food & restaurants: 63 of 66 mentions positive · Service & staff: 44 of 57 mentions positive

4Hotel Faro, a Lopesan Collection Hotel - Adults Only
Gran Canaria, Spain
Service & staff: 13 of 14 mentions positive · Location: 13 of 13 mentions positive

5Don Gregory by Dunas - Adults Only

Gran Canaria, Spain
Location: 37 of 37 mentions positive · Service & staff: 36 of 47 mentions positive
Corallium Beach by Lopesan sits in San Agustín with an 18 limit and a position right on the beach.
The evidence is the broadest in the selection, 2,101 reviews, which makes the score of 8.5 unusually well founded even though it is the lowest on the list.
Why this rank: The largest body of reviews in the whole selection, 2,101, but the lowest guest score in it.
8HL Suitehotel Playa del Inglés - Adults Only

HL Suitehotel in Playa del Inglés is suites in the middle of the liveliest area, with a 16 limit.
The position is central rather than quiet, and we have too few counted mentions of noise to say anything about the calm.

9Bull Vital Suites & Spa Boutique Hotel - Only Adults
Gran Canaria, Spain
The rooms: 8 of 9 mentions positive · Pools, beach & aquapark: 8 of 10 mentions positive
Bull Vital Suites in Playa del Inglés is the boutique house in the Bull group, with a spa and a 16 limit.
The Google score of 4.3 is the lowest in the selection and drags down the combined guest score despite a broad body of Booking reviews.
Why this rank: 1,505 reviews behind the score, but the Google score of 4.3 is the lowest in the selection and the calm is unconfirmed.
How we ranked the hotels
This ranking belongs to the theme and is separate from the destination page's general luxury order. Guest scores on Booking and Google carry 55 per cent, weighted by how many reviews sit behind them. Verified facts carry 30 per cent: whether the hotel is adults-only under its own policy, whether guests describe it as calm in our counted review mentions, whether there are adult-oriented facilities, and whether there is an adults zone. Star class carries 15 per cent.
A detail we could not confirm counts as neither a yes nor a no. It is left out and at the same time lowers the hotel's coverage. Wherever we quote a score, we name the source.
We screened twenty-four hotels on the island. Nine are adults-only under the hotels' own published terms and are ranked below. Fifteen are not, and the most familiar names among them are set out at the end with the reason.
Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés or San Agustín?
Maspalomas sits closest to the dunes and the lighthouse, with the calmest beach and the most lavish houses. Club Maspalomas, Riu Palace Maspalomas and Hotel Faro are here.
Playa del Inglés is the liveliest part, with restaurants and bars within walking distance. Bohemia, HL Suitehotel and Bull Vital are here.
San Agustín, east of Playa del Inglés, is the quietest of the three, with smaller beaches and a more lived-in feel. Don Gregory, Bull Costa Canaria and Corallium are here.
The airport is twenty to thirty minutes from all three areas.
Hotels we screened but left out
Fifteen hotels on the island fell at the same criterion: they accept children. Several of them are strong hotels that belong in our luxury selection, just not in this list.
Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia — Booking 9.8, the island's highest score in our selection. A quiet Gran Lujo house with a thalasso spa, but the hotel's own FAQ page states that there is a children's pool, cots and a babysitting service, and refers families to its sister hotel. It is a calm hotel, then, not an adults-only one.
Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel — Booking 9.0 from 1,814 reviews. The island's historic grand hotel in Las Palmas. The spa has an 18 limit. The rest of the hotel, however, accepts children.
Paradisus Gran Canaria — Booking 9.0. The Reserve wing has a 16 limit, but the hotel as a whole is open to children.
Lopesan Villa del Conde and Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa — both with broad bodies of reviews and both family hotels.
One pattern worth knowing: several hotels on the island have an adults zone, an 18+ spa or an adults wing without being adults-only. We count only hotels where the whole property has a published age limit.
