What Guests Loved
- The resort is positioned directly on the Georgioupolis shoreline, offering a dedicated beach area for guests. This layout eliminates the need for travel to reach the water, providing a seamless transition from guest rooms to the sand.
- The facility includes a sauna, a hot tub, and a fitness center, supplemented by scheduled yoga classes. These amenities create a structured environment for physical recovery and relaxation within a dedicated professional spa setting.
Things to Consider
- The secluded nature of the property means that local public transportation is limited. Guests interested in exploring the broader region of Crete may find it practical to utilize the airport shuttle or secure a rental vehicle.
- Given its exposed position on the beachfront, the resort can experience significant breezes at certain times of the year. While these provide natural cooling, they may occasionally influence the comfort levels of outdoor dining areas.

Reviews from Google“We stayed a week and are very happy about our stay here. The rooms are very nice, clean and big, smart design. Food options are great, and very friendly staff to take care of all your needs. I would recommend to go to the beach, very great service, drinks and food. Giorgos, a staff member from the oros beach has made our stay amazing, we had a great time. The gym is also a must. We would go again!!”
“The hotel is beautifully built into the hillside and offers breathtaking views over the stunning coastline. The beach is absolutely incredible, with crystal-clear, beautiful water, and the beach club right by the sea is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The restaurants offer excellent food – we especially loved the pizza! Everything we tried was delicious, and the combination of great food, beautiful surroundings and the spectacular sea view made our stay truly special. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will remember this beautiful place very fondly!”
“A newly built hotel located in a fantastic environment of mountains, sea and nature. Nice staff in general and exceptionally nice and professional animation staff. We had fantastic Pilates, stretching, aqua gym and water polo led by the wonderful Sara. Good food, many activities to choose from, nice pools and nice social areas. It was a fantastic week with many unforgettable memories, thank you Oros!”
“Absolutely outstanding stay from start to finish. The hotel exceeded all expectations in every way. The facilities were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and offered everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to excellence. The service throughout our stay was truly five-star, with genuine hospitality that made all the difference. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. We can’t wait to return!”
“OROS Luxury Beach Resort is a truly exceptional place. It’s hotel with stunning sea views, comfortable rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. What impressed us most was the service — from reception and the restaurant team to the beach staff, everyone was professional, kind and genuinely attentive. A special thank-you to Aristea at Orizontal restaurant and Irini at Reception, as well as to the manager, Nikos, who personally makes sure that every detail is taken care of and that guests feel truly welcome. Breakfasts were delicious and offered a great variety, and the Pool Club is definitely worth visiting for lunch or dinner. We booked directly with the hotel on a breakfast-only basis and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices in the hotel shop, at the beach and for room service. Despite the hotel’s high standard, guests are not overcharged, which we really appreciated. The hotel is in a secluded location, so renting a car is highly recommended if you want to explore Crete. We used the car rental company recommended on the hotel’s website, which was more affordable than arranging a car through the hotel. Warm greetings to Christos! There is also a bus stop nearby with connections to Chania and Rethymno. A perfect choice for a relaxing holiday and a great base for discovering northern Crete. Highly recommended!”
