“I can honestly say that the experience we had here was great. The multiple pools, the amazing breakfast choice. We had a little trouble falling asleep due to the night life noise, but everything else was exceptional. There are concerts in the pool yard in the evenings, so it's a nice timeout after a long day sightseeing. The pool area is filled with great tropical plants and restaurants, and if you don't feel like sitting at a pool, there is the amazing beach, just east of the hotel. We discovered it only after a week ;), but you should definitely try it out! Overall, good experience that we'll remember.”

“Beautiful hotel, and huge! Did get lost finding our room on the first night :-) We booked a Unique room that gave us added extras, which I think it was worth it for us. Breakfast in the morning is fab, plenty of cold stuff to choose from, as well as a hot menu. Large outdoor pools to choose from, as well as bars. Beach front views and plenty of bars and restaurants close by. If you’re wanting nightclubs, then I am sure it’s an easy taxi ride to Playa del ingles. We enjoyed the spa area and got to relax on a 4hr package.”

“A fantastic resort, with one very frustrating problem Overall, our experience at Lopesan Meloneras was again, fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the service is what you would expect from a resort of this standard. However, there is one issue that is extremely frustrating: guests reserving sun loungers with towels. From early in the morning, some guests place their towels on loungers to “reserve” them and then disappear for hours. As a result, many loungers remain empty for long periods while other guests cannot find a place to sit. What makes this particularly annoying is that it feels as though guests who get up early to put down a towel are given priority over people who actually want to use the lounger. At a resort of this quality, I think there should be a much stricter policy. The solution could be quite simple: if a lounger is occupied only by a towel and nobody is using it for, say, 30–60 minutes, staff should remove the towel and make the lounger available to other guests (they do this already, but not strict enough). The policy should be clearly communicated and, most importantly, consistently enforced. Repeat offenders could receive a warning or another reasonable penalty. This isn’t about punishing guests for the sake of it; it’s about making sure the facilities are used fairly by everyone. Everything else about the resort was excellent, but this issue affects the overall experience so much that, if it continues, I would seriously consider staying somewhere else on my next visit. Lopesan Meloneras is a fantastic resort, which is exactly why I hope they will address this problem.”

“It is the second time we stayed at Lopesan Costa Meloneras in 9 months and we said to each other we go home temporarily! We will return for sure, for us 100% relaxation from the minute we arrived. Our suite was overwhelming, cleaned every day and the interior specialist do always greet you. The food is great and always fresh, the different themes from snack to fish and Italian to local taste are cooked fresh behind the buffet. A special remark is that there is a lot of vegetarian food!!! The service in the restaurants is so nice and polite. The gym is more than super and the gardens and pool more than super. Clean, warm and spacey. There are enough beds and no issues with towels at all. This is arranged so nicely. We visited Cafe Del Mar nearly every night for the best cocktails in town! Keep up the good work, we will return! We are Fan!”

“We had half pension! The room was great (so was the room service). I liked the outdoor area and pools; however, there are large trees that cast shade most of the time, and the hotel interior seemed very dark, with all the walls being grey or black. I prefer staying in a brighter hotel. Regarding the buffet, as I review most places carefully and develop a good sense of taste, I can say it was quite average. Although they tried to offer a good variety of food, changing it daily, I didn’t find it very appealing. Additionally, they only offered limited options for wine by the glass, and for bottles, all the inexpensive ones were sold out. I’ve attached the photos. I would say I liked the breakfast more. In addition, they played live music most of the nights, and there’s quit nice shopping area with well known brands near to hotel. Also, they require an initial deposit of 700€, which they deduct from for drinks and extra services. In short, I’m satisfied with my stay and I appreciate staff.”
