Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Les Jardins du Faubourg Hotel & Spa by Shiseido is well-suited for families seeking a quiet wellness retreat in the 8th arrondissement. Guests think well of the hotel. Standout features include a Shiseido spa partnership and a rare indoor pool in central Paris. Be aware, however, that there is limited on-site dining variety, and wellness services carry premium pricing.
Guests score it 8.7 out of 10 — the average across the 20 hotels we list in Paris is 9.2.
What Guests Loved
- The dedicated Shiseido spa offers a refined wellness experience with tailored treatments, a hammam, and a fitness center, providing a serene escape from the busy Parisian streets.
- Tucked away in a quieter pocket of the prestigious 8th arrondissement, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Tuileries Garden and upscale boutiques on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
Things to Consider
- While the hotel serves an excellent breakfast and features a sophisticated bar, the onsite lunch and dinner options are somewhat limited. However, the surrounding neighborhood is filled with acclaimed bistros.
- Access to specific spa treatments and private wellness sessions comes at a high price point. Guests should budget accordingly, though the quality of the Shiseido therapies justifies the expense.
