“We have been here 2 days so I’ll update later if anything changes but how everyone does not give this 5 stars I’ll never know. Landed early from USA - exhausted of course - did some touristy things and we were still back hours before the room would be ready. Let us use the breakfast buffet and came through with an early check in. Room is awesome. But - people are sleeping on the restaurant / bar on the 5th floor. Posted a video of the views. And the food / service is just beyond fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and the hotel is about a 15 min walk from all the tourist market / spots so perfect. We have a junior suite and that is very luxurious.”
“We recently spent 3 nights in a superior room. Hotel has very nice location for visiting city center. Staff seemed very disinterested upon our arrival. Bags dropped off in room without ant instructions (turning off all the lights is pretty complicated without some instructions). Bathroom ok but no electrical plug, and nearest one in room did not work. We were on second floor, crazy amount of street noise all night. Bed comfortable, pillow choices limited. Overall room and 2nd floor in general needs some tlc. Public spaces in lobby are beautiful but don't seem to have any real function. Breakfast buffet was good. Restaurant on rooftop deck was excellent. Overall not enough value for the charge.”
“We're currently ending a 5 night stay here. The hotel is beautiful and dramatic and located near the city center. The service is excellent and the included breakfast is perhaps the best I've ever had in any hotel. The hotel rooms have a modern feel and nice touches like heated towel racks and easy to use individual room thermostats (one of my personal bugaboos is the typical user-hostile baffiling thermostats.) The hotel is expensive, but if you can afford it, it's a great place to stay.”
