What Guests Loved
- Housed in a meticulously restored 19th-century Ottoman palace, the property blends striking historical details with contemporary comforts, offering guests a direct connection to Istanbul's imperial past.
- The heated outdoor pool sits directly on the edge of the Bosphorus strait, allowing guests to swim comfortably while watching passing ships and yachts.
Things to Consider
- On-site dining and drinks carry a premium price tag reflective of the luxury brand, though several excellent local eateries are located just a short walk away.
- The hotel's location along the busy waterfront road means the surrounding Besiktas district can experience heavy congestion, making ferries a more efficient transport option during rush hours.

Reviews from Google“I would like to sincerely thank Mrs.(kardelen) for a wonderful hospitality and excellent service. You were so kind and thoughtful, and we truly appreciated everything you did for us. Thank you especially for choosing such a beautiful table with an amazing view of the Bosphorus. It made our experience even more special and memorable. also mustafa and ferhat . We truly enjoyed our time at the restaurant, and we are very grateful for your kindness and exceptional service. Thank you so much! 🤍”
“We stayed in this hotel for a few days as a family as my husband comes frequently for work - it is amazing! Lovely rooms with impeccable housekeeping, delicious cuisine, friendly staff and the most gorgeous restaurant with unbeatable Bosphorus views. Romina in the restaurant was especially charming. We loved it, would give 6 stars if possible. EATWELL family”
“We had a wonderful four-day stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus with our family. The hotel is absolutely beautiful—elegant, classy, and in an incredible location right on the Bosphorus. The views and atmosphere are simply gorgeous. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The service was excellent and made the whole experience feel very special. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool and the hotel’s restaurants. There were multiple dining options throughout the day, with great food and beautiful settings overlooking the Bosphorus. The only area that fell a little short of expectations was the breakfast buffet. It was perfectly fine, but fairly average compared with everything else at the hotel. Given the quality of the Four Seasons and being in Istanbul, we expected a much more impressive selection of traditional Turkish breakfast specialties. Overall, though, this was a fantastic stay and a memorable experience for our family. Beautiful property, spectacular location, outstanding staff, and excellent service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!”
“I am generally writing very short reviews. But this hotel deserves some of my time for the experience I had ! I am travelling since more than 50 years all over the world and visited over 100 countries. I've stayed in all type of hotels form 0 stars to 7 stars. I chose Four Seasons Bosphorus in Istanbul for my 50th Wedding Anniversary. I am client since over 30 years in Ciragan Saray (nearby) but I decided to try also the "neighbour" Bosphorus Four Seasons. And the experience was just wow ! Rooms are at the level of Fourseasons. Nothing special, except the views. The only inconvenient in the Palace romms is they were not allowed to change the building and they do not have balconies. But otherwise the room is great. I moved after 2 days in one of the 4 Palace roof suites which is gorgeous. And now I am coming to the best part: restaurants, pool and especially the service. Starting with our check-in where the front office was perfect, Mrs. Ebru AYAS - Director of Guest Experience was so kind and helpful, trying to meet our expectations. An without knowing who she is, I gave some feed back to Nazli OZSOY - Assistant Director of Rooms. To my surprise, couple of hours later, I have received the items I was suggested earlier to Nazli. We had a dinner in Aqua. I wanted a table near Bosphorus. Sinan TAPAN - F&B supervisor - who was working, not supervising - arranged our table. And service of Mehmet Erginer was absolutely extraordinary. The breakfast is on top, compared with any other hotel. Just for info, I was in Paradise Island - Ocean Club Four Seasons, where the breakfast was awfull ! And the top service was received from Romina Gusan !!! She was so present for all customers, helpful, kind, nice so you could not love her. I am visiting Turkey since more than 40 years and I love this country. My oppinion is hospitality was born in Turkey and the people are extraordinarry. The only minus is the Ocakbasi restaurant. The location and service is very good but the kitchen is faaaar away from the famous Turkish cuisine. I think they should work more on the menu. And the brunch on Sunday is unbelivable ! I decided to fly when I have time just for enjoying this feast ! Bosphorus Four Seasons will become my home hotel !”
“We chose this venue for the open-air cinema event, but I expected a much more professional organization from a place like the Four Seasons. To summarize briefly: 1. The screen is quite low, and there is no tiered seating arrangement. Unless you grab a seat at the very front, it is almost impossible to see the screen due to the crowd. Either the seating should have been arranged to allow a clear view, or the screen should have been placed higher. 2. Food and beverage prices are on par with Etiler/Nişantaşı, perhaps even a notch higher. While the prices might be considered normal given the venue's standards, the quality provided unfortunately falls below average. 3. The volume of the movie was quite inadequate; it definitely should have been louder. The only nice thing about the event was that it took place by the poolside. Additionally, when you attend an organization like this, you end up paying 600 TL for an average of 3 hours of parking. While I didn't expect it to be completely free, I would have at least hoped for some sort of concession or discount for guests. In conclusion, unless these fundamental shortcomings are addressed, I unfortunately cannot recommend the open-air cinema events here.”
