“Outstanding service at this tasteful and peaceful hotel. The downsides were that as we were three friends sharing a room, the sofa bed was quite hard and too small to comfortably accommodate anyone of average or taller height. In addition, the food did not blow us away, although the breakfast was good (so breakfast package is recommended!). However, the service was excellent and the staff went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and attended to. The hotel itself is tastefully designed and full of high quality furniture. When we went (in May) there were always enough sun beds and loungers by the beach or pool so it never felt stressful. The location is good, with restaurants and bars in walking distance and near a bus stop that can get you to the nearby towns of Platanias and Chania. I would very much recommend Asterion Suites for anyone who wants a tranquil and relaxed holiday in a lovely setting.”

“This is an amazing place to stay! We stayed for just over a week and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. Everything, from the food to the service, was 5-star. The buffet food was amazing every day, but what really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and always willing to go above and beyond for us. A special thank you to Manolis, the Restaurant Manager, Manolis, the Reception Manager, and Mike on the Front Desk as well as Ramesh — you were all fantastic and really helped make our stay so memorable. The evening entertainment was beautiful, with amazing singers and violinists performing, which created such a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were amazing, the views were incredible, the food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional throughout our whole stay. We had such a wonderful time and would absolutely come back. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place enough!”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Asterion Suites & Spa and cannot recommend it enough. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful place for a relaxing holiday, this is it. From the moment we arrived, we experienced top-tier service. Every single staff member we met was incredibly pleasant, smiling, and eager to help. The food was absolutely delicious, and the pool bar serves super delicious drinks that you must try! The hotel features a fantastic pool area, and they also have a dedicated, quiet area for guests on the beach which we highly appreciated. Our accommodation was spacious, practical, and beautifully designed. We stayed in a suite with a private rooftop terrace and our own pool, which made our vacation extra special and luxurious. This is a true 10 out of 10 from us. We are already looking forward to our next visit!”

“This hotel is the best we have ever stayed in. A small boutique hotel with staff that cannot do enough for you. We travelled in May 2026 and are already booked to go back for my husbands 50th birthday in October this year. Cannot wait to see the team there again as we came away feeling like we had made good friends. Manos, Maria, George, Roula, Rosa were fabulous. The hotel manager George also made time for us which was great. Katerina was also really friendly and helpful. Loved our stay here.”
