Luxury Hotels in Limassol

Limassol is a city where ultramodern skyscrapers are reflected in the Mediterranean and an eleventh-century crusader castle casts its shadow over gourmet restaurants.

Frequently Asked Questions

Agios Tychonas and the Amathus corridor for the full five-star package with a private beach and uninterrupted sea views; Pyrgos for maximum seclusion within expansive resort gardens; and Potamos Germasogeia for those who want to combine beach life with easy access to the city along the Dasoudi promenade.
Yes. Atlantica Bay Hotel is the only entirely adults-focused luxury hotel on Amathus Avenue. Among the major five-star resorts, Amara offers an adults-only sea-facing infinity pool and separate adult terraces; Parklane has a dedicated adults-only wing with sixteen lifestyle suites, four of which have private pools; and Four Seasons has its own adults-only zone complete with an infinity pool, jacuzzi and private bar.
Limassol has no airport of its own. Allow 50–60 minutes from Larnaca (LCA, roughly 67 km to the east) and 40–50 minutes from Paphos (PFO, roughly 65 km to the west). Both are reached via modern motorways.
Not necessarily for a beachside resort stay — hotels will arrange transfers and guided excursions. That said, having a car is genuinely useful if you want to explore the wine villages of the Krasochoria region, the ancient ruins of Kourion and the monastery trails of the Troodos massif at your own pace.
Premium sea-view rooms often provide the same outlook as suites at a considerably lower price. During the shoulder season — May and September to October — suite-level rooms with a private pool can be surprisingly good value compared with peak summer rates.
Limassol ranks among the strongest culinary destinations in the Mediterranean. At the luxury hotels you will find restaurants by Nobu Matsuhisa and Giorgio Locatelli (Amara), NAMMOS from Mykonos and La Petite Maison from the French Riviera (Parklane), and Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini (Four Seasons). Beyond the hotels, independent fine dining lines the marina and waterfront — from oyster bars and rooftop restaurants to the Lanitis Carob Mill, a beautifully restored 1920s mill where dinner is served beneath medieval castle walls.
Book four to six months in advance for suites with a private pool during June to August. For premium sea-view rooms, two to three months is generally sufficient in May and September to October. The shoulder season offers warm seas, ripening vines, the grand wine festival at the end of September, and prices up to 50 per cent lower than the peak summer highs.
Ancient Kourion impresses with its dramatic clifftop setting above the sea and a remarkably well-preserved Roman amphitheatre. Kolossi Castle is the fortress of the Knights Hospitaller and the historic birthplace of Commandaria wine. Limassol's medieval castle houses a museum of Byzantine Cypriot finds and was the setting for one of history's most romantic royal weddings. Limassol Marina is perhaps the most beautiful evening destination in the Mediterranean, with luxury boutiques, fine dining and magnificent yachts at anchor. The ten UNESCO-listed Byzantine churches of the Troodos massif, together with the wine villages of Omodos and Koilani, make for a day trip that is difficult to forget.
