Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Active travellers will appreciate this property for its diverse on-site recreational facilities. Standout features include an expansive outdoor swimming pool area and local Mediterranean breakfasts, though guests must navigate the property's exposure to seasonal Meltemi winds and its distance from Parikia town centre.
Guests score it 9.1 out of 10 — the average across the 6 hotels we list on Paros is 9.2.
What Guests Loved
- Located 100 meters from the shoreline, guests have access to the sandy beach and clear waters of Parasporos Bay without needing a vehicle or shuttle service.
- The property includes a floodlit tennis court and a fitness center, providing more activity options than are typically available at smaller boutique hotels in the Cyclades.
Things to Consider
- While the secluded location offers quiet, reaching the shops and nightlife of Parikia requires a short drive or taxi ride, as the distance is not walkable.
- Situated on the western coast, the beach area can become quite windy during the peak summer months, although the hotel's garden layout provides several sheltered lounge areas.

What guests say
Reviews from Google“This hotel is absolutely *not* worth the price and definitely does not qualify as 5-star. The service was average, and many times frustratingly below average. Any time you would ask for something at the hotel, it was always met with "No." And only after begging multiple times, did they agree to look into it / do it for you. There were 1 or 2 nice employees at the resort, and the rest were unbearable to deal with. Terrible energy and attitudes and definitely were not oriented towards making the guests have a pleasant stay. The food is unbelievably overpriced and not good quality. The rooms are nothing special. There is no beach access (you have to leave the resort and walk down towards the beach). Apparently this beach is also extremely windy and unpleasant. Overall - not even close to worth the money spent.”
“This hotel is absolutely stunning! Every aspect from the hotel lobby to the pool to the rooms-well maintained, clean, and gorgeous. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. They helped us call a taxi on one of our outings and they let us check out late last minute when we realized our flight left later than we initially thought. The food at the hotel restaurant is delicious and has great portions. It’s a bit expensive, but that makes sense considering it’s a luxury resort. The beach is a five minute walk away and the market is also a five minute walk away. This is a must stay if you’re coming to Paros!”
“One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. Loved it! Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool. Suggest renting a car, otherwise you will take a bus or taxi and both will cost more in the long run if you stay more than 1 day.”
“I would like to thank everyone at the Yria Hotel for all the affection, attention, and dedication during these 10 days we stayed here! We leave with hearts full of gratitude! Our special thanks to Rena, Xenia, Eva, and Sia for the wonderful tips! We also thank dear Sophia, Vaggelis, and Pablo for their daily care during our time at the pool! And also grateful to all the dear Taku, Marcos, Panos, Theodosis, and others whose names I don't remember… haha. A big hug to all of you and see you soon!I would like to thank everyone at the Yria Hotel for all the affection, attention, and dedication during these 10 days we stayed here! “Came to Paros for a wedding in September 2025, Honestly, was slightly skeptical before arriving after reading reviews. However, once I arrived at the resort I instantly fell in love with it! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everything was fantastic! The food amazing, the pool (even though I didn't go in) looked awesome! and most importantly, the staff amazing! Especially Sia, Georgia and Reina (i'm sorry if I misspelled any of the names)! Only downfall was not even the hotels fault but night one the power kept going off and on but apparently it was island wide! Overall, I would highly suggest booking your stay here at Yria! The property truly reminds me of how I would see Greece and the Islands and also, the vibe of being in Mama Mia too! Truly amazing hotel! Will return here if I come back to Paros!”
