Pegasos Beach

He has been incredibly friendly, responsive and accommodating while helping with restaurant reservations and special requests. “First: this is not a 5 star! Just a 4 star. Lobby: 4 star. A bit dated furniture Restaurant: very «cantina» feeling. Ambience/style - 3+. Food: 3+ Indoor bar: dated and dull interior: 3 Outdoor bar: ok. A bit too little staff with only two bartenders. 4- Outdoor pools: delicate and nice. 4+ Beach area: a lot of worn out parasols: 3 Restaurants: the Greek restaurant was fair enough 4-. Gym: pleasant with outdoor. Warm of course but nice ambiance. New and nice tread mills. Worn out gym equipment- all in all 3+ Rooms: hotel consists of an old part built in early nineties and a newer addition of about 60 rooms built around 2015. Old part - some floors renovated to a very delicate style! 5- (see picture of hallway) New part is nice and straight forward 4 star class. Plus: Nice beach Has pizza, gyros and crepes on offer Children area in a designated part on one side of the property Big plus: Easy to get access to sunbeds Minus: only two elevators so often a lot of waiting time”

“We spent one week at this hotel. It has a great location right by the beach; however, for a 5-star hotel, I expected a higher level of service. Pros: - excellent location directly by the beach - clean beach with darker sand - plenty of available sunbeds both on the beach and by the pool - rooms were clean and cleaned daily - interesting evening entertainment programs - strong and fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, including the beach - wheelchair-accessible facilities - helpful staff Cons: - the level of service does not match a 5-star standard - food and drinks were rather average; moreover, half of our group experienced digestive issues - very limited food options for guests with dietary restrictions - tap water and water from dispensers had an unpleasant taste and smelled of chlorine (we had to buy bottled water at a nearby shop) - rooms are sufficient but somewhat worn and dated Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay, probably because we spent most of our time outside the hotel on trips or by the sea, and only returned to the room to sleep.”

“Food can be better not a 5* for sure. Very good beach and overall water is magnificent, however service and maintenance are ridiculously relaxed and unwilling to resolve issues like rusty nails on a wooden walkways... Good animation for kids and eve programs. If you have good price, take it, bit it will be one time experience. Not sure people come back here.”

My parents will be visiting the hotel at the end of May, and I contacted the hotel in advance because they are older guests and I wanted to make their holiday as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Ms. Tsampika Kappaka replied very kindly and professionally, and I truly appreciate her willingness to help with their stay and possible arrangements in advance.
