The 30-second verdict
What Guests Loved
- The resort provides five distinct swimming pools, including a custom-designed Mayan temple pool with integrated slides. This variety ensures that guests can choose between high-energy water features or more tranquil, secluded lagoons depending on their mood.
- The staff receive consistently outstanding reviews from previous guests, being described as "wonderful", "attentive" and "friendly", which contributes to an exceptional overall experience.
Things to Consider
- As a popular destination for families, the common areas and restaurants can become quite animated during school holidays. Travelers seeking absolute silence may prefer visiting during the shoulder seasons when the resort operates at a lower capacity.
- The resort’s expansive grounds and multiple wings mean that reaching certain pools or dining rooms may involve several minutes of walking. Guests with limited mobility should request accommodations near the main lobby and central lift systems for convenience.

Reviews from Google“We stayed here for our wedding for 10 nights in June, reception was also at the hotel. By far the best holiday we have been on. The location is great and hotel is just amazing. Sunbed allocation is a game changer. The pools were so warm and food and drinks were fab. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. The wedding day was absolutely amazing couldn’t fault anything. Slides are great for the kids. The kids activity’s and clubs were abit disappointing and there isn’t much going on for kids other than the slides, a play area on site would have been ideal and the mini sickness in a room upstairs and didn’t feel like a disco. I do think the music playlist for the kids needs updating as there was nothing modern for the kids playing. A few more nuggets and chips for kids at meal times would have been good however - it hasn’t stopped us returning and we have already booked to return and can not wait!”
“Staff were amazing at the hotel. I would like to especially thank the ladies at the front desk for being so lovely and supportive to myself and our 4 month baby girl. Many staff members accomodated us with our stroller and helped our 6 year old open up. Ranjit, our room service was impeccable. I would also liek to say a huge thank you to their baby package. It really was greatly appreciated and helped us making our baby's milk. The only thing was the kids club could be advertised a bit better with different activities indoor and outdoor. However, my son loved being in the pool.”
“We have just returned from the Olympic Lagoon Hotel where we had our wedding. We had an incredible time - the service, the rooms, the food & drinks all top class. All our guests that stayed in the hotel & attended our wedding loved the hotel. The hotel wedding team are amazing - very professional & so helpful. The area where you get married overlooks the sea & is stunning. We were only a small wedding so we chose the Seven Orchids for our Wedding Meal - the food & service was first class. I would highly recommend this hotel & wedding venue - thank you Olympic Lagoon, we will most definitely be back.”
“Wonderful all inclusive hotel. Helpful and nice staff, great location. The food was mostly very good, except for the American diner which did not have good burgers. The hotel is clean and well maintained, including the pool. The kids clubs are very nice and the evening shows are wonderful. For visitors with children - the Italian restaurant is only for 18+ which meant we could not enjoy it, we could only reserve one special restaurant, as the others were fully booked for all the days we stayed. The indoor pool is not heated, and the water was too cold for us to enter.”
“This is an amazing hotel, the rooms are very well presented and the food is absolutely delicious. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the reception desk staff were very helpful and informative. I would like to say thank you to Mario Georgiou on the reception desk for all his help and information, he is a very friendly and understanding member of staff. I will definitely be recommending the Olympic lagoon resorts to my friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. John and Caroline”
