Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels
NissiBlu Beach Resort is best for beach lovers who want immediate access to Nissi Beach alongside versatile swimming options. A long-standing guest favourite on Booking.com and Google, this five-star resort features two swimming pools, three restaurants, and landscaped tropical gardens. Guests can enjoy a good breakfast and a dedicated spa. However, travellers should note that the surrounding area can become crowded during the peak summer season, and the interior design features a minimalist aesthetic.
Guests score it 9.2 out of 10 — the average across the 8 hotels we list in Ayia Napa is 9.2.
What Guests Loved
- Situated steps from the turquoise waters of Nissi Beach, the resort provides convenient access to the shoreline while maintaining an elevated position that offers expansive views across the Mediterranean coastline.
- The property includes a large outdoor lagoon, a dedicated children's pool, and a heated indoor pool, ensuring that guests have temperature-controlled swimming options regardless of the season or weather.
Things to Consider
- Because of its proximity to a world-renowned beach, the area immediately surrounding the hotel attracts significant crowds in July and August, which may impact the sense of total seclusion.
- The guest rooms feature a very modern, white-toned minimalist decor that prioritizes clean lines; some travelers might find this style a bit clinical compared to more traditional Mediterranean designs.

Reviews from Google“We are staying here for a family vacation and are having a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, with lovely rooms and outstanding service. The pool area is great, and the spa is excellent, beautifully designed, and very well maintained. There are several restaurants in the hotel, as well as a kids’ room with games, which makes it very convenient for families. The location is also perfect, very close to the beach, with easy access to the famous Nissi Beach. We are very happy with our stay and are enjoying every moment.”
“Where do i start...... this is the loveliest hotel we have ever stayed at. Im sitting on our balcony on our last night of a 10 day stay, wishing we had booked 14 nights. Its immaculately clean. The housekeeping staff work tirelessly all day with a smile on their faces. Breakfast is amazing, a huge variety, something to please anyone. The staff are friendly and treat you like your the only visitor in the hotel. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the pool areas are spotlessly clean. I emailed the hotel during my visit to thank them for making our anniversary so special, and the response back from the manager was personal and heartwarming. I can't wait to visit again, not sure I can stay anywhere else on the island that would beat this hotel. My only small issue was the pool area, we never used it as it was very busy, lots of children, not a problem as this is a great family hotel and the hotel really treat the children well. But being a couple in our 40s who have already brought children up we tend to go on holiday for peace and quiet. But sandy bay beach next to the hotel is so peaceful and quiet we found our place, but regardless of this we would still stay here because it's the best place on the island, thank you nissiblu yiu all work so hard. This is a holiday I will never forget xx”
“We booked several rooms as a large family group to celebrate a special milestone. The hotel facilities are truly great: the rooms are modern and clean, the pool is lovely, and the beach location is perfect. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. Simple requests at the dining room were constantly delayed or mishandled, and routine interactions with staff and management were met with eye-rolling, impatience, and outright dismissiveness. For a resort charging premium prices, the level of hospitality is severely lacking. A nice property does not make up for treating guests like a burden.”
“NissiBlu Beach Resort is located at the entrance of Ayia Napa, just a short walk (around 200 meters) from the beautiful Nissi Beach, with a convenient pathway leading directly to the beach. There are several positive aspects of this hotel. The staff is friendly and professional, the breakfast is good with a decent variety of options, the sea is beautiful, and the lobby, pool area, and other public spaces are modern, stylish, and worthy of a 5-star property. However, the biggest disappointment is the value for money. We stayed as a family of four in a family room and paid approximately €520 per night including breakfast. Unfortunately, the room itself was nowhere near the standard expected from a 5-star hotel. The room was quite small, furnished rather cheaply, and the bathroom was tiny and felt more like something you would find in a budget hotel. In our opinion, the room quality is closer to a 3-star property than a luxury 5-star resort. While the common areas of the hotel certainly look and feel like a 5-star establishment, the guest rooms are significantly below that standard. For the price being charged, we expected much larger and higher-quality accommodation. Overall, a nice hotel with an excellent location, friendly staff, and attractive public areas, but the room quality does not justify the premium price. One more important thing to note is that Nissi Beach is a public beach and the hotel does not have its own private beach area or reserved sunbeds. The sunbeds and umbrellas are managed by the local municipality, not by the hotel. This means that guests need to bring their own towels from the hotel and compete for available spots like everyone else. During peak season, especially on weekends, the beach becomes extremely crowded. If you want a good spot, you practically need to reserve it very early in the morning (many people place their towels around 7:00 AM). Arriving later than 9:30–10:00 AM often means that most of the desirable sunbeds and beach areas are already taken.”
“The staff are very accommodating and helpful. We didn't get an overview of the facilities, we discovered them as days passed by. One outdoor pool for the huge place is not enough, felt crammed especially since it was full occupancy. The gym is good, has several machines. Could use some updates. Nikkei restaurant is fabulous, the quality of food and offering is mouth watering. The property is not beach front, as the sea is a 3 min walk, separate management and fees apply. It is not kid friendly as there aren't special areas for them.”
