Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Lara Barut Collection-Ultra All Inclusive separates its adult and family zones, making it a fair choice for couples who still want a family-friendly resort nearby without sharing every pool. Eight specialised à la carte restaurants and a traditional Turkish hammam add variety beyond the main buffet, and the pool facilities include water slides for the family side. The grounds are large enough that guests should expect a fair amount of walking, and reserving a table at the à la carte restaurants requires planning ahead given demand.
Guests score it 9.4 out of 10 — the average across the 9 hotels we list in Antalya is 8.8.

The 30-second verdict
What Guests Loved
- The resort moves beyond the typical all-inclusive buffet with eight distinct à la carte venues. Each restaurant focuses on a specific culinary tradition, offering guests a varied dining rotation throughout their stay without leaving the property.
- Separate beach and pool areas for adults ensure a quiet atmosphere, while families benefit from dedicated active zones. This layout allows for a high-occupancy resort to feel spacious and tailored to individual traveler needs.
Things to Consider
- The property’s footprint is substantial, which may necessitate longer walks between guest rooms and the beachfront. While the landscaping is pleasant, guests with limited mobility may find the layout challenging during a long stay.
- Access to the popular à la carte restaurants often requires advance booking through the hotel’s reservation system. During busy periods, specific time slots or venues may fill up quickly, requiring guests to plan their dining well in advance.

Reviews from Google“This July, my daughter and I stayed at your hotel, and we had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the beautifully landscaped grounds, and the convenient Swim-Up room with direct access to the pool. The service at the Lagoon Bar left a very positive impression. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Special thanks to the bartender Deniz, who prepared a variety of delicious cocktails for us with great care and hospitality, especially the children’s cocktails, which my daughter absolutely loved. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!”
“An Exceptional All-Inclusive Experience We’ve now stayed at six five-star all-inclusive resorts across Greece and Turkey, and each has had its own particular charms. But Lara Barut genuinely distinguishes itself—and in several important respects, exceeds anything we’ve experienced so far. What impressed us most was the quality of the management and attention to detail. The entire property feels exceptionally well organised, yet never impersonal. There is a sense that the resort is being run by people who understand that the little things matter. Virtually every member of staff seemed genuinely intent on making our stay enjoyable. But the real stars of Lara Barut are, without question, the food, entertainment and activities. The food is simply outstanding. The variety is extraordinary, but more importantly, it isn’t variety for variety’s sake. There is real quality and an impressive range of flavours and cuisines. We’ve stayed at some very good resorts, but the dining experience here is in a different league. The animation and activities team are another highlight. They are energetic, enthusiastic and wonderfully engaging without becoming intrusive. There’s a genuine effort to get guests involved, whether in sport, games, fitness or the many other activities on offer. It creates a remarkably lively atmosphere, particularly for families. And then there is the evening entertainment, which was consistently excellent. In fact, it probably surpassed anything we’ve experienced at the other resorts we’ve visited. We particularly enjoyed the various dance programs. There is clearly a serious commitment to the quality and variety of the nightly programme. The beach is also impressive—the most expansive we’ve encountered at any of the resorts we’ve visited. The Mediterranean water here isn’t quite the crystal-clear Aegean we’ve enjoyed elsewhere in Greece and Turkey. If I had one criticism it would be to relegate the smokers to designated areas around the pool. By now we all know the potential harm that come from second hand smoke. Ultimately, what makes Lara Barut special is the combination of all these things. It is beautifully managed, exceptionally well staffed, full of activities and entertainment, and blessed with an extraordinary food offering. There is a palpable sense that the resort genuinely wants its guests to have a wonderful time. Highly recommended—particularly for families. We came with high expectations, having experienced several excellent five-star resorts, and Lara Barut managed to raise the bar considerably.”
“Just returned from an amazing holiday at Barut Lara. First visit was 2018, and it didn’t let us down on our return. The food is excellent at all restaurants. The service is really good and the staff are friendly and welcoming- nothing is too much trouble. The grounds are kept pristine and the cleanliness is first class. Rooms are very well equipped and the view overlooking the pool/sea/mountains was lovely. A particular shout out for the following staff( although it feels somewhat unkind to the others tbh) -; The girls on roller blades at the pool- they work so hard and their service is brilliant and they are so attentive. Lufti who served us at Sandals and the pool bar. Great service. Furkan at the Akdeniz restaurant was lovely and eager to please and the ChateauBriand is a must have. The entertainment team who work non stop; Furkan and the crazy & beautiful Buket were fabulous. A must do is the Moon Party at the beach which was really great and the Drifters at the Pool Bar were excellent. All the staff were very attentive, polite and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed Barut Lara and cannot recommend it enough for families both with older and younger children and for couples looking for a chilled time. Thank you all at Barut Lara for a very memorable time.”
“Fantastic hotel- amazing grounds, facilities, entertainment and food. Stunning rooms! We had the penthouse suite. I’m used to Ikos resorts and although the service there is exceptional, the food and entertainment is better here! My son loved the waterslides. The only feedback is management should have beds ready for guests arriving late- my son was left without a bed made up- no covers and we had to ask reception 3 times to sit this out. They took ages taking the luggage to our room and when we upgraded- he still didn’t have a proper bed. Having said all of this- management listened and took care of us. We had a special occasion meal which was superb!”
“We stayed one week at Lara Barut Collection in a Designer Junior Suite with our 2-year-old and overall had a very enjoyable holiday. The hotel area is huge and beautifully maintained. The pools are massive and really pretty, the beach is excellent, and the sunbeds are nicely spaced out (not cramped like in some places). There are plenty of activities — archery, rifle shooting, basketball, etc. — and lots of staff around, which creates a nice atmosphere. The kids facilities are excellent; our toddler absolutely loved it and we felt very comfortable as a family. Our Designer Junior Suite was nice and comfortable with a good balcony. It was a bit smaller than we expected, but the complimentary minibar and room service were very welcome perks, especially after our late arrival. Food was the weakest point for us. The main buffet is large but the taste was just average — nothing really stood out. The à la carte restaurants had an annoying reservation system and the food was barely good. Snacks throughout the day or night were also quite limited (lots of drinks but not much food variety), which was disappointing. Minor downsides: some activities only run at specific times, and we could hear the evening concerts from our room (not extremely loud, but noticeable). Overall it felt a bit overpriced for the experience. We would happily return if the price is more reasonable. Great for families with young children thanks to the pools, beach, and kids facilities”
