Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels
KPM Hotel & Residences Berlin works best for travellers who value calm, cleanliness and capable service over spectacle. Set on Englische Straße between Charlottenburg and the Tiergarten, it is convenient for trains, morning runs in the green spaces nearby and conferences at Messe Berlin. Guests repeatedly praise how clean and quiet the rooms are, the comfortable beds and the staff, from reception to housekeeping, and the apartments suit stays of several weeks. The weaker points are mostly about details. A few guests found the breakfast buffet limited for a hotel of this level, the kitchenette is unlocked only for a daily surcharge, and some rooms are tight, with no twin-bed option. The spa is small, essentially a sauna and a gym. For business travellers and anyone settling in for a longer stay in western Berlin, it is a dependable and well-designed choice.
Guests score it 9.3 out of 10 — the average across the 11 hotels we list in Berlin is 9.1.
What Guests Loved
- Service is praised at every level, from reception to housekeeping and the restaurant team. Guests describe the staff as warm, attentive and very professional, and one guest who stayed four weeks found nothing to fault.
- Cleanliness comes up in review after review. Guests also mention good soundproofing and blackout curtains, which make for a good night's sleep.
Things to Consider
- Many guests enjoy the breakfast, but a few felt the buffet was rather limited in choice for a hotel at this level.
- Units can have a kitchenette, but it is unlocked only on request and for a daily surcharge, which surprised some guests on longer stays.
Should you book it?
