Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews

Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels

Azia Resort & Spa suits design-conscious travellers and families seeking a structured daily activity programme. Guests rate this property superbly on Booking.com and Google. Guests enjoy its Arabian-inspired interiors, dedicated adult and family zones, and three swimming pools. However, the resort is situated at a distance from central Kato Paphos, and some guests note variations in room design styles.

Azia Resort & Spa occupies a coastal position in Paphos, defined by its lush gardens and distinct zones for adults and families. The property balances relaxation and activity with its comprehensive spa facilities and Arabian-inspired aesthetic. It is well-suited for travelers seeking a structured resort experience outside the main urban center.

Guests score it 9.2 out of 10 — the average across the 10 hotels we list in Paphos is 9.2.

Featured in our guide: 8 luxury all-inclusive hotels in Cyprus: The best in 2026

  • The resort maintains two separate grounds for adults and families, ensuring those seeking tranquility and those traveling with children enjoy designated environments. This layout effectively minimizes noise disruption for couples and solo travelers.
  • Moving away from standard Mediterranean minimalism, the decor incorporates exotic textures and Arabian-inspired elements. These touches provide a sophisticated visual character that distinguishes the property from more conventional coastal hotels in Cyprus.

“After several vacations abroad, we finally arrived at Azia Resort, and we absolutely fell in love with it. This is by far the best service we have ever received at any hotel. If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, we would happily give it a perfect 10! The sea-view rooms with balconies are simply stunning, offering breathtaking views. The pool is crystal clear and very well maintained, and the swim-up bar is a great addition. There are plenty of activities for children, and the entertainment team comes every day to keep them happy and engaged. In the evenings, there are live performances both at the bar and in the outdoor entertainment area. We especially enjoyed the romantic atmosphere at the bar, accompanied by wonderful live music. The outdoor shows were also fantastic, and our children had a great time enjoying the performances. We stayed on a room-only basis, but from the conversations we had with other guests and the overall atmosphere, it was clear that those who dined at the hotel thoroughly enjoyed the food and their dining experience. I would also like to mention that we had a few special requests, and the staff—especially Mr. George, the manager—handled every single one with great care and professionalism. We are certain that we will be coming back for another wonderful vacation.”

“We spent 10 nights in this hotel and had a wonderful stay. The facilities are lovely and the Staff were all very diligent and friendly making us feel very well looked after. A special thank you to Nino who manages the main buffet, she took special care of our family during our stay and also to Alice who oversees the A la carte restaurants. The food and the service was terrific. Our 4 year old loved the Mini Disco put on by the wonderful entertainment team. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Paphos.”

“We had a wonderful week at Azia Hotel & Resort in Paphos on a half-board basis. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made our stay feel extra relaxing. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with lovely grounds, a calm atmosphere, and excellent facilities. Our room was comfortable, fully air conditioned and perfect for a restful holiday. The pool area was a real highlight, and there were plenty of places to relax and enjoy the sea views. The half-board option was excellent value. Breakfast and dinner (or lunch) offered plenty of choice, with fresh, tasty food and a good variety each day, even for vegetarians. We especially appreciated the effort the staff went to for us and the friendly service in the restaurant. As a multi generational group of 11 people it isn’t easy to fulfil all our needs but the hotel managed to tick our boxes, especially with the kids club. We would definitely return! “A very welcoming and nicely designed hotel if your flight landed very late they still welcome you with kindness and smiles. An entrance through glass doors lead you to a clean, modern lobby. The rooms are brilliant all of the I was lucky enough to get the biggest bed I've ever had at a hotel which was brilliant to sprawl out on. But in all seriousness the room gets a 5 star because of the view, the cleanliness along with air con which helps with the heat, a balcony with a view if the ocean which is perfect for sunsets. The service here is outstanding from the receptionist to the cleaners they are all kind and very welcoming and will always approach you with a smile I know that's there job but at the end of the day a smile can lift moods doesn't matter who you are. Each night is a different themed buffet and when I say buffet I don't just mean the bog standard food it's very well thought off and cooked brilliantly well done to the chefs. As you will see from booking there is a huge swimming pool with different activities throughout the day and on the other side an adult only pool. There are multiple restaurants and bars to eat and drink at as well. The location has a variety of restaurants and bars but nothing where it's too over crowded or too busy. Theres a bus stop up the road you can catch too coral bay or Paphos itself. It doesn't really matter about the location because if your all inclusive you have everything you need in one place.”

“Perfect Family Vacation for the Second Year in a Row! Can’t Wait to Return We just returned from a wonderful 9-day stay (8 nights, B&B) at the Azia Resort & Spa, and this was actually our second time here (after a great visit last year). In our opinion, this hotel is absolute perfection for couples and young families! We stayed with our two young children (ages 3 and 5), and all four of us had an unforgettable time. Here are a few highlights from our stay: Cleanliness & Housekeeping: The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and always smells amazing. Rooms are cleaned twice a day with a sweet chocolate treat left on the bed each evening—such a heartwarming personal touch. A huge thank you to Rodula, the Executive Housekeeper, who is an incredible person! Beyond ensuring our room was immaculate, she gave us fantastic local recommendations around Paphos and checked in on us daily to make sure we were completely happy. Exceptional Service: Service here goes above and beyond! The reception staff are so warm and welcoming, handling every request with a smile—from holding our bags and providing power adapters, to seamlessly extending our check-out and booking restaurants for us. There is always cold juice near reception, and every single staff member—from the entrance guards and bar staff to the attentive pool waiters—is kind, smiling, and eager to help. Location & Views: While not in the noisy center of town, we actually think this makes the hotel even more special! The views from the resort are hands-down some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Magnificent ocean sunsets framed by lush green lawns, wooden decks, and sunbeds. Additionally, right next to the hotel, there is a lovely playground where our kids played almost every afternoon, with a nice bar-restaurant right beside it—the perfect spot for parents to relax with a coffee at sunset while the kids burn off energy. The Kids' Club (The Highlight of Our Trip!): Words cannot express how wonderful Jackie is! Running the kids' club, her kindness, love for children, and boundless creativity shine through every detail. Our kids (and us!) had the absolute best time crafting, painting, dancing, and playing. Jackie and wonderful Camy greeted us every morning with a warm smile, tailored activities to each child's needs (she even makes her own natural playdough!), giving our children pure joy and giving us parents real time to relax and unwind. Dining & Hospitality: The food options are great and easy to navigate, with several specialty restaurants on-site (Italian, Asian, Grill, and the main buffet). A special shoutout to Nino, the Restaurant Manager, who was exceptionally kind and caring. She went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after and that our family always had great food options. Facilities & Entertainment: Something for everyone! A massive main pool divided for toddlers, kids, and adults with a swim-up bar and daytime activities, plus a tranquil adults-only pool on the other side. Great gym, yoga studio, teens' club, and at least two different live shows every single evening. You will never run out of things to do! In summary—we are already missing Azia and will definitely be back again and again!”
