Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 13 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Aya Resort - Adults Only is well-suited for travellers looking for a quiet child-free atmosphere with scenic outdoor spaces. Key amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, balcony pool views, and diverse dietary breakfast options. A clear disadvantage is that the resort is entirely unsuitable for family travellers, and poolside seating tends to fill quickly.
Guests score it 8.9 out of 10 — the average across the 8 hotels we list in Ayia Napa is 9.2.
What Guests Loved
- The child-free policy ensures a quiet, relaxed environment throughout the property. This makes it an ideal retreat for couples and solo travelers seeking uninterrupted peace by the pool.
- The resort's breakfast caters exceptionally well to diverse dietary needs, offering vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices alongside continental and hot English classics.
Things to Consider
- As an adults-only property, the resort does not accommodate children, which limits its appeal for families. Multi-generational groups should look at alternative nearby properties.
- The prime poolside loungers tend to be claimed early during peak summer months. Guests can alternatively find quieter seating areas within the landscaped gardens.
Should you book it?
Book it if you want

Reviews from Google“5star service!! The best place we visited in all of Cyprus hands down. Kostas the pool supervisor knows the meaning of hospitality and it was greatly appreciated during my time at the resort. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. All the other staff waiters and waitresses were also all super helpful. Will definitely come again 👏🏾”
“We had such an amazing stay at Aya Resort and honestly didn’t want to leave! Everything was perfect, from the beautiful resort to the great service and the relaxing atmosphere. A huge thank you to Alexei and Violeta for making our stay even more special. They were always so friendly, welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed. It’s people like them that make a place truly memorable. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!”
“We went for an event for Alex wan, and prior to going to the event I had called and asked if we need to book sunbeds, I was then told by the organizer that with the ticket we were able to arrive from 1pm and use the pool and wait for the event to begin. In the end there was a misunderstanding with this and we were not able to access anything untill 5pm. So after arriving at the resort and sitting in the bar waiting for the event to begin we had asked if there was at least a sunbed that we could pay for, for the day. We were then told we can, then told we cannot and this continued for nearly 2 hours, Then one of the organizers came to apologize for the misunderstanding. He was very polite and apologized for any inconvenience. In the end we ended up leaving the event due to how extremely rude the hostess was(Eleftheria). She spoke and treated me like I was not welcome there. Even to the point that i was speaking to her and she just completely ignored me and walked away. The whole situation was so Disorganized and truly I felt that me and my partner were not welcome there due to how very rude Eleftheria was. I honestly have to say, and I say this for the good of your resort eleftheria is one of the rudest people I have met and the fact she is a hostess is not good for the look of your resort. Truly a lovely place, lovely service from every waiter there including the organizers. But all completely ruined due to how she treats people.”
“We had an amazing stay at Aya Resort. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and every detail was taken care of with great professionalism. A special thank you to Chara, the supervisor, for her exceptional attention, kindness, and dedication to making our experience memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay. We would also like to recognize Yannis, the manager, for his outstanding leadership, hospitality, and commitment to guest satisfaction. His warm welcome and professional approach truly made a difference. Thank you, Chara, Yannis, and the whole Aya Resort team for an unforgettable stay! 🌟”
“We booked in for the day as a group of friends who live in Cyprus. It's beautiful here .. but, very disorganised, poor service, poor quality/choice of food/drinks which were very expensive! It wouldn't take much to make the place run smoothly! A booking system that allocates sunbeds before your arrival so it's a swift process to get in for the day; staff nearby to take orders for food/drinks so you don't have to wave like a crazy person for their attention; take off the automatic 20% service charge on every drinks/food order - you'll find people will readily tip for good service; make umbrellas available on all sunbeds - this is Cyprus, we love the sun, but we don't like to burn to a crisp because there is no option for shade on the poolside beds; there's a qr code to view the menu - add an 'order now' option to save trying to wave down a staff member; Turn down the volume of the dance/house music - we've come to relax! However, at least it's a child free zone!”
