Tripplo's verdict, based on guest reviews
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 10 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Aska Lara Resort & Spa Hotel is best suited to families who want an on-site aqua park alongside a full theme park, with room configurations built for parents and children sharing space comfortably. The hotel separates its beach and accommodation zones, and dining runs on a 24-hour all-inclusive basis, which guests single out as a strong point for flexible mealtimes. The trade-off is that reaching the beach means a short shuttle ride rather than a direct walk, and during peak periods the buffet areas and pools can feel busy given the hotel's high guest capacity.
Guests score it 8.2 out of 10 — the average across the 9 hotels we list in Antalya is 8.8.
The 30-second verdict
What Guests Loved
- The Wet’n Wild theme park features nine water slides and several activity zones, providing structured entertainment for children while maintaining resort tranquility in the main residence area.
- By positioning the primary recreational hub and beach club across the road, the hotel ensures the main living quarters remain peaceful for those preferring a quieter environment away from the music.
Things to Consider
- The private beach and aqua park are not directly adjacent to the main hotel building, requiring a five-minute walk or a short ride on the frequent shuttle service provided by the staff.
- Due to the scale of the resort, public spaces and buffet areas may experience high foot traffic during the summer months, though the multi-pool layout helps distribute the crowds effectively.

Reviews from Google“It was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the resort itself was impressive, and the water park was an absolute highlight. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the people working here. Every member of the staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming. However, a few people truly went above and beyond and deserve a special mention. The team at Anka Restaurant—Dilan, Fikret, and Mehmet Ali—welcomed and served us with genuine warmth and big smiles every single time, no matter how busy or hot it was. Their kindness and dedication made every meal even more enjoyable. We would also like to thank the team at the Panorama Lounge Bar, especially Özgü and her wonderful colleagues. Our children loved spending time there, largely because of the warm atmosphere you created, even when there wasn’t much for them to do. A special thank you as well to Zehra from the entertainment team. Although we didn’t participate much in the activities, she was incredibly kind, approachable, and welcoming. To everyone: thank you for your kindness, your hard work, and the care you put into making every guest feel special. It truly made a difference, and we hope to return one day.”
“Great value for money and I’d definitely recommend it. The food was excellent with a wide variety, fresh vegetables and fruit, and noticeably better quality than at other Turkish resorts I’ve visited. Drinks were surprisingly good, with decent beer, tasty cocktails! There was plenty to do for both kids and adults, the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and finding a sunbed was never an issue. The only downside worth mentioning was the poor sound insulation - you can hear everything from the hallway. The hotel also seems a bit understaffed, so service can occasionally be slower, although the staff were generally friendly and helpful.”
“Everything was really perfect! Staff was wonderful, nice and helpful. The leos club had amazing staff!! My children loved it!! From morning to late nights! Food was great! Rooms, bed, shower, everything was really amazing. Thank you and see you soon again.”
“Beautiful resort and plenty of entertainment on offer (which is only a short shuttle bus journey away). They have an on site star bucks too but it's very limited. The resort is very clean and tidy amd staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are also very nice and spacious amd cleaned daily. The pools at the main resort are also quite nice and offer a more quieter experience whilst the main entertainment area which is maybe a 10 min walk/ 5min shuttle bus journey offers more music and entertainment as well as the evening entertainment.”
“This was my first visit to Turkey. I was booked in the annexe which I didn't think was good. I asked for a room in the main hotel and had to pay £150 extra for it which I thought was very unfair! However the hotel food was quite good. But the highlight has to be the entertainment! We enjoyed the evenings spent at the beach side . The girls on the team especially Zehra was just too good. She immediately for us up and dancing. The next day was Karaoke abs once again she encouraged us to partake and we had another great night! Looking forward to the rest of our stay here. Beach is excellent and there are quite a few swimming pools for all ages !”
